FW: " Veteran's Day "

In November of 1919, President Wilson supposedly said....
reflect on "Armistice Day", to honor World War I dead !

Our allies called it "Rememberance Day", on November 11 of every year....
as a tribute to our fallen warriors, for their blood, sweat and tears!

Then in 1954, President Eisenhower re-named it "Veteran's Day"....
to honor veterans from ALL U.S wars, in a very special way!

We'll have parades and speeches, and fly Old Glory high....
thanking our veteran heroes, for perserving our way of life!

So on this day let us pause, with a genuine sense of gratitude.....
honoring your devotion, and admiring your courageous attitude!

You fought to defend freedom, and to strengthen our liberty....
keeping us from harm's way, while producing stability!

We pray for your safety and well-being, for those alive or not....
there is no higher commitment, than giving it all you've got!

Putting one's life on the line, for humanity is quite noble...
the mission of universal freedom, has now gone global!

So "Thankyou" once again, would be proper to say....
to anyone from the service, happy "Veteran's Day"!
